Commuter's Voice Mission
Commuter's Voice is dedicated to giving you, the Commuter, a voice to communicate your concerns and opinions about the life of a commuter, as well as assist others in their commute. You can assist other commuters or perhaps even influence transportation providers (government, business, other commuters) in how your commute will be in the future or even today
There are two main aspects to this site:
(1) information about transportation providers
(2) open forum to discuss commuting issues
The author of this site had been a commuter to New York City for nearly three decades, and would like to share his opinions and alternative methods of travel in and out of the city. In addition, the author has traveled to many cities around the world, such as London, Paris, Los Angeles, ..., and although has had limited exposure to these areas transit systems, would like to setup a forum for others to voice their opinions and assistance to others in all areas of the world where there is a high concentration of people who need to commute to get to work.
I hope this site turns into a valuable resource for you all. I will be kicking off the site with discussions on commuting from the Northern New Jersey USA area, specifically from Upper Montclair, Wayne and surrounding areas. Please all voice in on my comments or start up your own threads in other area. It is the website's intention to extract information from user's postings over time and create valuable information pages covering commuting in the various "Commuting Zones" the sites registered users discuss.
Bare in mind, this site is not meant to be a place to complain about commuting, but is a to help others in their commute and hopefully influence the transportation providers we all use on a daily basis.

Here you will find the true mission of this website, the "Commuter's Voice". The value add is from you, the commuter, who can voice their commuting successes and "war stories". It is the goal of this website to assist other commuters and to influence in a positive way the transportation providers.

Commuting Zones
Even though "Commuter's Voice" will start with the Northern New Jersey geographical area, it is open to all locals in the United States or anywhere in the world. The site has started its information in the Northern New Jersey area as that is where the author of the site is familiar with commuting issues to New York City from over 30 years of commuting in and out of New York City. As the author has commuted around the globe for various business and vacation reasons, the site will start off initial discussions about other destinations. It is the hope that you, the users, will pick up from these points and add on vital information to fellow commuters.
