Wayne-Route 23 Transit Center in Wayne, NJ

The newest transit center in the area, opened on January 12, 2008. This appears to be the first of its kind in the area, with its intermodal hub model providing its commuters with both bus and train service to NYC. It is located at one of the most convenient locations in the area for access to routes 23, 46 and interstate 80. Parking for over 1,000 cars both on a daily and monthly charge.

This facility has basically replaced what was known as the Mothers Park & Ride, which is located approximately 1 mile north of this facility. Mother's is still used by NJ Transit as an overflow for the Wayne-Route 23 Transit Center, and has buses available to get its commuters back and forth to the Transit Center.
