New Jersey Commuter's Guide to New York City

 

By County and/or by town, information is provided to assist you with transportation to and from New York City. Presently this is centric on the the North Eastern area of New Jersey. Immediately below is a drop down list to pick out a town that has been documented. Pick the town you are interested in and you will be provided with the various transportation choices that town has to offer.

Also below is a County by County selection of main transit hubs. These hubs provide the commuter with parking, bus and/or train commuting capabilities to and from NYC. They are located off of major highways making it an easy commute to get to. These are sometimes better for the daily commuter than a local bus or train station.

 

Passaic County Main Transit Hubs

Right near the Route 80, 46, 23 intersection area. Provides monthly parking, NJ Transit Bus and Train service. Unique Park 'n Ride as it provides both train and bus service at the same location. Easily reachable from all surrounding towns. Boonton Line Train Service and several bus routes including the NJ Transit Bus Route 324.
Large Park 'n Ride facility with both indoor and outdoor parking. Trivia: Last station that is electrified on the Montclair Boonton line, engine has to run in diesel mode from this point onto Boonton. You can pick up the Montclair University Shuttle Bus right at this station.
Large Park 'n Ride facility right in the Willowbrook Mall that provides monthy and daily parking spaces for the NYC commuter. Serviced by several NJ Transit Bus Lines.
